Broadway Israel to Soon Feature Erin LeCroy

In recent news, a 31-year-old singer and resident of New York is going to be performing in the Broadway Israel. However, this is not just any performer, rather Erin LeCroy, who people believe is living proof of dreams coming true. The shows in the State of Israel will begin on the 23rd of March and go on till the 4th of April. It has been revealed that the production repertoire takes in eminently humble and enduringly popular numbers from various hits at the theater box office, such as Les Miserables, The Sound of Music, Funny Girl, My Fair Lady, Cabaret, Phantom of the Opera, and the West Side Story. This is believed to be an ode to the fact that there is a veritable musical tour awaiting audiences in the cities of Tel Aviv, Kiryat Motzkin, Yavneh, and Kfar Saba. In addition, LeCroy is going to be joined by an Israeli concert and theater performer, Isaac Sutton.

The soon-to-be-introduced LeCroy-Sutton collaboration is one of the most recent in a series of productions of musical numbers taking place in the Jewish state. In other instances, Sutton has been teaming up with a couple of leading female vocalist from across the globe, as well as Israel. Where LeCroy is concerned, her story is an inspiration for all, which is why the audiences in the country are anticipating her performances. Her dream of becoming a singer started when she took a family trip with her father to London. She was 14 years old at the time and viewed The Phantom of the Opera for the first time. A decade later, the American performer had been auditioning for the show for three years when she finally got a call. Her agents called her into their office and told her she was on the shortlist.

However, according to LeCroy, she did not let her expectations run high at the time. The audition tapes at the time had been sent to Andrew Lloyd Webber, the composer, as well as Cameron Mackintosh, the producer, to receive final approval. With a part of the auditioning clip present online, fans were able to see that the singer is highly talented and deserved the role that she got. Before going on to become a Phantom star, LeCroy had spent some time on the road. She had undertaken several productions throughout the United States. She had also played Eliza Doolittle in the famous hit, My Fair Lady.

The performer also talked about how challenging her roles had been in My Fair Lady, as well as The Phantom of the Opera. She talked about how she was forced to stay in shape and on her toes throughout the course. She recalled that she would only receive 15-minute breaks or be able to take a breather during intermission. Even during those breaks, she would be changing her costumes and makeup, only to go back up and perform. Moreover, the costumes for the show were quite heavy, with the wedding dress in the Phantom of the Opera weighing no less than 30 pounds.
