Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to read Zman Tel Aviv comfortably. The site was rebuilt in 2026 with the aim of meeting the Israeli standard IS 5568 and WCAG 2.1 level AA.

What we did

  • Clear headings, labelled navigation areas and a "skip to main content" link on every page.
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text alternatives for images, sufficient colour contrast and text that can be enlarged.
  • Layouts that work on phones, tablets and desktops, and respect for the system "reduce motion" setting.

The accessibility menu

Every page has a round accessibility button. It lets you change text size, switch to strong contrast or grayscale, highlight links, use a more readable font, widen line and letter spacing and stop motion. Your choices are stored in your browser only.

Known limits and contact

Some older articles were moved from a previous system and may still contain parts that are not fully accessible. If you run into a problem, email jonathan@intername.co.il with the page address and a short description.
