And I Get Confused and I Fall: “Tel Aviv Love Race” kicks off
The Love Race
Tel Aviv is a city known for constantly reinventing itself and hosting original events almost year-round that fit its young and vibrant spirit. Now, the city is launching something truly unique – The Love Race, which combines physical activity with dating.

A Truly Special Event
Backed by Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality
The race, scheduled for September 18, is sponsored by the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality and Tapuzina. It’s not an entirely new initiative: it began three years ago but was halted due to the war. This year, it returns with a fresh twist, featuring live performances, a variety of side events, an all-night party, and special areas for mingling and dating.
Finding Love
8,000 sweaty people, all with the same goal: to find love
An estimated 8,000 participants are expected to join, some running the 5 km track and others the 10 km. The race will start in Yarkon Park and finish at the Migdalor compound, where a festival will be held with live shows, refreshment areas, food stands, and dedicated dating zones. After all, what could be better than a sweaty date in a giant venue with 8,000 other sweaty people?
Short-term or Long-term?
Are you the type to rush things, or take it slow? This is how you’ll know if it’s a “long-distance relationship.”
Musically, the event will feature a performance by Tuna and a high-energy party to make the atmosphere even “stickier.” One of the advantages of this event is the chance to find a partner with whom you can imagine a “long-distance relationship.” Because if you can survive the sweat, panting, and showing off, and still be attracted to each other, maybe the stars really are aligned.
Open to the Lazy, Too
“Thanks, I already worked out at the office.” The dating area is also open to those who skip the run.
If the sporty vibe appeals to you but you don’t feel like lacing up sneakers, you can still finish your shawarma on the sidelines and join the fun at the dating zone at the end of the route. No one will tell that you skipped the run, ust do us a favor and order your shawarma without amba.
A Truly Special Event
Jokes aside, this is an event that can be uplifting and joyful, blending lighthearted social encounters with a healthy lifestyle. The municipality says past editions were a great success, drawing crowds who came to run and left with their hearts racing, not only from the kilometers.
So, if you love sports, enjoy running, have a healthy competitive streak, and are eager to find the love of your life (or at least a great fling), The Love Race in Tel Aviv was made for you. Ready, set, go!
